They're okay. Don't put the lids in the dishwasher. The rims are easy to chip.

Ive tried twice (in store) to buy some hocking glass pie and storage dishes and they had chips and bubbles on the edges. I don't trust this Hocking stuff. Eating glass chips cant be fun

I have these but have not had that issue. Will keep it in mind in the future though. That said, I would say they would work for what you need them for.

I bought a 32 piece set of these (16 containers of various sizes and lids) and really like these. Of those only 1 lid was a bad fit but still works and it was on a larger rectangular container. I found myself using this particular size for lots of things; leftovers, nuts and seeds that I buy in larger quantities and keep in the freezer, so put in these for the fridge, etc. so I bought a set of these recently. They are all good with proper fitting lids. Would buy again as this is the size I use to most.
