So, I will try to give a better review than "Nothing headphone worth nothing. Ugly design and bad audio quality.". I bought these and really tried to enjoy them. I have had XM4's, Bose, Marshall, and Focal Bathys. These are maybe just okay for the price. The bass is okay with the Nothing app, although they just lack the punch compared to the Sonys. Now I know the Focal's are like 400$ -500$ but if you can afford to save, grab those instead. These look cool, although they just don't thump enough IMHO. Hope this helps people on the fence.
The audio is good. It's comparable to the audio of Bose's QC 35 II headphones, slightly better with the EQ. I can't compare them to the newer Bose and Sony models, as I haven't tried them. Noise cancelling is slightly better than the QC 35 II. What I don't like is the headache I get from wearing them. They are not comfortable after more than a couple of hours. Another thing I don't like, although this is common with other headphones, even if you smile or turn your head, the suction on the headphones lets in noise. I got them from TikTok Shop for $170 plus $20 for a 2-year warranty. I'd rather pay that than almost $400 for Bose headphones that will break close to the end of the warranty.
All in all, switching between these and my Bose 35 II is not a jarring experience. It's very casual. I don't know what being on par with old headphones from nearly a decade ago says about Nothing, but I don't mind it. The look of the headphones are gimmicky , and it's realized in person. They are a conversation starter, but destined to be dated or that "attempt to be different" in a minimalistic headphones environment.
