From a quick search, it appears that it requires a $10 minimum purchase and is only for rewards members.

Better in high cost of living states. I am showing $8.19 for the sandwich and if you get a half pound, it goes up to $15.19. Do not know if they allow one to upgrade it and pay the difference.

Thanks, I was wondering how free it was when I saw Arby's deceptive email

Beginning Wednesday, June 17, Arby's Rewards members can get a free Angus Cheesesteak with a $10 purchase while supplies last. Fans can also text STEAK to 27297 for early access to the offer.

Sounds good if it wasn't for the required $10 purchase.

It's basically a BOGO. The sammy is 9.99 in my market, so if I was buying one, now I get one free. Or if I was going to Arby's for basically any combo meal, I could get a cheesesteak for free. They should probably advertise it as BOGO instead of FREE...

Yep, they're garbage, and replaced the burger, which was good. Not worth spending $10 to get it for free, even if you got a code.

I added two PCS, this leaves you with a $0.02 deficit. I added tomatoes to one sandwich for $0.40.
If you hate tomatoes on your sandwich, then choose another option; tomato was the lowest price. Adding cheddar sauce to one sandwich is a $1 for example.

In addition, to recoup my cost, you can add up to 3x sauce cups to each sandwich. I chose 6 cups of BBQ sauce total. I am out, and this saves me from having to purchase more right away.
