This is a rechargeable Find My wallet tracker card that works best when AirTags are too bulky, especially in wallets, bags, or other tight spaces. It can beep loudly enough to help narrow down a wallet in a house, car, or nearby location, and the battery has held up well in long use for some. The main tradeoff is thickness, since it is about three cards thick and may not fit typical slim wallets or card slots. It also lacks Ultra Wideband precision finding, so it gives approximate location rather than exact direction.

  • The promo code can fail at checkout and may not apply on some dates or carts.

  • The tracker lacks Ultra Wideband directional finding and only indicates Bluetooth range.

  • The tracker card can be much thicker than standard credit cards and may not fit typical men's wallets.

  • The sound alert may be too weak to locate the tracker reliably through layered clothing or thick wallet materials.

When you know approximate location, like your house or car, you can activate sound to help you find it.

Yes but have you heard the sound that these third-party units make?

A pair of pants layered on top of the pocket that these are in would muffle the sound damn near completely.

The sound is not very strong and unless its complete silence you'd likely be unable to locate it.

Anyone have experience using this?
Just got mine, set it up and tested the sound. In a trifold wallet in my closet you can hear it from the other side of the house.

Battery life states 3 months we shall see. It is rechargeable and has a 3yr warranty so we shall see how that holds up. I haven't seen any third party air tags have precision finding so not sure that is a negative (especially at $6.50)

Not quite sure why people waste their time discrediting things on here with no experience with it.

How long does the battery last?
A really long time. I've had it for over a year and think I've charged it once.

is the thickness really noticeable? I order this one but since, I've found others that are 0.07" thick for like $9. debating

For those that are asking about these types of third party trackers, from what I understand about the technology, it provides the location of the iPhone the last time the tracker was seen by one, and the notification isn't immediate (there's a few minutes lag, but I think that's by design in order to avoid draining the tracker's battery from sampling the bluetooth connection too much). I do not know how well these work compared to Apple's own trackers (I don't own any), but I do find that they are helpful for occasions when you accidentally leave your item somewhere such as at a restaurant or a friend's car/home. I don't carry much cash in my wallet, but I do have other stuff in my wallet that would be difficult/impossible to replace, so it's worth it to me. Is it guaranteed to help you recover your wallet in all cases? No, but it is cheap & useful in enough circumstances that I felt compelled to buy and carry one in my wallet. Hope that helps.

RedElmo's link is a different card @ 1.8mm thick.
Looks like it's also a buy-use-recycle style tracker as none of the information or reviews mention charging, except to say they're glad they don't have to think about recharging it...
Which is also kind of weird because all but one of the reviews are Vine reviews of free products. The one that isn't a vine review also has one of those "get paid to review product" cards in the picture of the product. šŸ™ƒ
The marketing/reviews seem sketchy, but my understanding is that's business as usual for Chinese OEMs trying to stand out in the crowd, and probably shouldn't be treated as disqualifying. Personally, I'll keep looking.

Why would it? This emits radio frequency. Same 2.4GHz same as your WiFi. It doesn't emit magnetic frequency.

Easily fit three cards in a single slot? Holy, I'm not talking about the century-old wallet inherited from great grandpa. Jokes aside, most wallets are designed with their credit card slot to follow the standard size of 0.03 inches. I've purchased or gifted five maker brand wallets, and they all fail to accommodate more than one card in their credit card slot. Some even struggled to fit very slightly thicker cards like the Amex Platinum. Even after some break-ins, there's no way they'll fit three cards. If they do, those slots are too loose, and a single card will start to fall out, creating a bigger problem. As I mentioned, some larger wallets may hold this. Perhaps where you put the bills in. But typical men's wallets wouldn't fit this "credit card" device. Also, Ridge isn't a typical men's wallet. It's more of a card holder or pouch.
Quit buying "fashion" wallets and get a real mans wallet
