I've had this for about a year and I love it. So convenient and far better than other designs with a dedicated milk container. You can just put the straw straight in a milk jug. The only complaint is it doesn't make as fine of a grind as some would prefer for espresso

I read the reviews and one points out that it doesn't heat milk well because it's designed for Europeans who keep their milk at room temperature. Odd.

I'm not familiar with this product / model but I've seen similar, and for more money. The idea of paying $1000+ for a coffee machine with so many plastic parts is - to me - bizarre. At the very least, anything that touches the coffee or the brew should not be plastic.
Yeah. Yeah. To each his own/ her own. But why do we always collectively lower the bar? Now all of us have to accept less for more Frown

That's been my entire hangup with getting a super automatic machine - it is so much plastic. Semi-Auto's are a lot more effort, though - and then you have to also buy a good grinder that takes up even more space.

What that touches the brewed coffee is plastic? I see the plastic hopper for the water--not an issue since the water isn't hot and it's only in there short term.
