Anyone have experience with these? Previously sound quality was bad, so got the Bose sunglasses instead. That was like 3-4 years ago though

These sound great. They're air conduction and not bone conduction so the sound quality is much closer to what you might expect from earbuds. Obviously no isolation or noise cancelling. And these fully support billet Bluetooth multipoint with the app and can steal the BT connection when needed.

Wearing them right now. Great for working out and outdoors (running, biking) where you still want to be aware of your surroundings. Super comfortable as the earbuds are not in your ear. Long batter life, especially with the case. Multipoint BT works great. Call/mic quality is acceptable, but it wouldn't be my primary driver for calls.

Easy to lose. The slippery case slips out all the time. No "find my earbuds" (just spent 3 days looking for them Frown ). Not great for airplanes (minimal sounds leakage but the volume is not high enough for quiter podcasts even at max volume, etc.).

My opinion, I've had an early version of their openrun when they first came out. Audio was just so so, low or no bass, and high treble. Then recently tried again for their new version....more or less the same audio quality. The best if you want to hear your surroundings loud and clear...just don't expect audio quality with these types. Open ears on the other hand for majority of the brands have way better audio quality, but not as good as openrun types if you want good surrounding environment audio. Hopefully someday for bone conduction/openrun.

I've had mine a little over a year. Microphone has started only working 50% of the time in the last few months.
I will also say they are heavy on the ears. They will make you physical ear sore while you get used to them.
Great battery life even now. I mostly use mine for audiobooks and sound quality is great.

The Openfit 2 (not SE) are my go to for running over a year. Love them. My only problem is the charging case has some issues charging them and already looked and you can't order just a replacement for that so that's one expensive charging case. The contacts that connect with the earbuds themselves seem to have gotten pushed in more than normal and so they don't make as good of contact. Other than that really love them, excellent audio and very comfortable

Are you sure you tried the openfit? Or were you using the OpenRun which is a bone conduction headset (completely different technology)?

With all due respect, I think these types of comments just confuse people. These are not the openRun bone conduction headsets. They are 2 totally different technologies with different sound profiles. Just because Shokz makes both types doesn't mean we should bring one up when the OP's product is the other. You went from your own experience with the Bone Conduction model to comparing it with other open ear models. Have you actually tried an OpenFit model?

You are the first I have heard to say that they are uncomfortable. Most people say they are so comfortable, you forget you have them on. Just look at the 2 comments after yours.
