Just an FYI, if you plan to just switch these on/off when needed, rather than letting the light sensor detect day/night, there is a very annoying 5-second delay after you flip the switch until the light turns on. Customer support says this is a design "feature" but have never had any other lights with this feature. Very annoying...

Why? Did you mean shorter because they can't reach the outlet easily?

I use TP Link bulb wifi bulb, so switch is always on, but light is contolled on demand by Alexa as well as by schedule (sunset/sunrise with offset as desired).

We'd like to replace our outdoor sconces that are almost 30 years old. They are definitely solid metal and glass. I'm gonna check these out in store. I don't want them to look cheap and flimsy like those Govee sconces.

Better off getting aluminum ones or more pricey brass ones. These particular globe ones I believe are iron or steel and will eventually rust

I bought this ~3months ago for my garage Easy install. Leave the switch on all the time since it's dusk-dawn sensing for the light itself, plug a timer into the light with string lights across the garage and back of house. Nice illumination for the backyard.

Installed these in my backyard in Arizona. Nice for the price and love having the extra outlets in the light. As mentioned the only weird feature is a delay in turning on if you are doing it manually with a switch. About 5 seconds. Thought they were broken first time i installed them.

These are aluminum. As heavy as they are I thought steel but a magnet will not stick to them.

If they weren't so nice in material and the GFCI then I'd return the two I bought at Costco for $30/ea. There's about half a dozen reviews on the Costco website that discuss a work around to the 5 second delay. It'll mean the dusk dawn will be disabled. They're very nice otherwise.
