Other than a slight wiring advantage, hard to figure why to use this instead of individual switches. Limits future flexibility if you want to swap out one for a dimmer switch in the future. HS200 in a three pack is the same price ($11 per).

I'm pretty sure this is just two individual HS-200 devices packaged with a 2-gang faceplate, so nothing really all that special about it. I guess if one prefers the smooth "no screws" look of the provided faceplate that could be the incentive. I have several HS-200 devices installed in a 2-gang config and just had to provide my own conventional Decora 2-gang wall plate (w/exposed screws). But I'm fine with that look. Decent price though if you need 2.

buy the screw less covers on amazon, this is what i've done for all of my mulligang boxes with kasa switches.

They have a 4 pack tapo switch kit for 35 too.

All of the kasa stuff works with the tapo stuff if that's your thing. I probably have 40 devices between the two.
