You can grab a 16gb/512gb Chinese ROM off Aliexpress for $600+tax. 12gb would be ~$100 cheaper. It's from the Lenovo store.

There's a $90 off coupon and if you pay via PayPal pay later it's another $20 off.

You can easily just download google play store and still get updates

I searched Aliexpress for a 16gb/512gb version but couldn't find it. Do you mind sharing a link? I know they have a coupon right now so after coupon at $600+tax would be great. Thanks.

they are probably referring to the gen4. The only place i see gen5 for 600 is on giztop at 12gb

I've purchased many of the Chinese versions, a major issue is that they restrict the WiFi there and you can't get the latest protocols.

Any chance it will drop to grey market import prices? It was 599 not too long ago on the import websites, but its nice to get it direct from Lenovo w/ Warranty & approved local software/rom.
