I will say, Walmart+ has come in handy. Their shipping seems to be more consistent than Amazon and the grocery delivery is same day.

My W+ ends on Jul 16. I just went in to cancel it and an offer came up that if I remain a member it will renew at $49. I accepted.

I had W+ for 3 years. first year was free, then I think i had a chase offer or something for 49, then cancelled and got pop up for 49 again. right now do not get a 49 offer, only 99 bucks a year. probably dead for people that had taken advantage of this renew promo

That won't work. Amex won't be charged the full $98 on month 2 as you already paid $1 on month 1. So the AMEX offer won't apply unfortunately. Not to mention that AMEX declines cash back offers when paired with a promotion which the $25 Walmart cash is.
