To the Wahl model specifically. It worked great and was easier to use than traditionally angled clippers but after using it a few times I popped the blade housing off to clean it and it never worked properly again. I didn't even take the entire thing apart just popped the entire assembly out as a single piece and it still ended up causing a gap in the blade and wouldn't adjust to sit flush again.
I bought a replacement since I had been happy with them and it arrived with exactly the same problem out of the box. The gap between the blades on the replacement was worse than the one I had taken apart to clean.
I tried adjusting the screws, taking the entire housing apart and bending the springs to be tighter etc. Bending the springs did improve it but didn't fix it completely so that it worked as well as it had originally. I ended up just getting a completely different clipper.
