This folding 8.5 inch scooter stands out as a very cheap clone model with solid real world speed potential and a strong deal price around $84. The Tuya app can unlock settings like max speed and no push start, and several reports say it reaches about 20 mph after setup, even for heavier riders. Out of the box, though, some units are throttled to about 14 to 15 mph, so performance depends on the clone and app behavior. Stock also appears limited in California, making the low price a short lived opportunity.
The scooter can reach about 20 MPH after app setup using the Tuya app.
The Tuya app can enable starting from standstill without push-off.
The deal price can be meaningfully lower than the same clone scooter's typical $100-$110 sale range.
The solid honeycomb tires can feel bumpy but remain acceptable on paved flat roads.
The app experience can be inconsistent, since some apps do not unlock speed and may not find the scooter.
The scooter can be throttled to around 14 MPH instead of the listed 19 MPH.
Coupon entry through a cashback website can trigger a security error even when direct coupon application works.
Deal availability in California can be limited, with the $85 pricing selling out quickly when it appears.

Yea I see tuya is used on a lot of these clone scooters. Seems like there are other apps that might be compatible. Have to see what other people say when they get theirs. So yours cant go over 14 MPH? From the other clone scooters like this that ususually is the case until its "unlocked" by the app. I'll report when I get mine.
I downloaded the app from the QR code on the scooter. It downloads the Tuya app. I already have it because of lights LEDs that use the same so added the scooter.
There it allows me to set max speed to 20 MPH! And it went 20 MPH. there is also a setting if you want to enable no push start. so no need to be rolling before the motor starts. Will start even from standstill.
Maybe this is different than the one you got? Was it same seller? A lot of clones of these but maybe some variations
It's hard to complain because of the price. First of all this thing goes 20MPH. Out of the box it goes 15mph. this uses the Tuya app (some might be familiar with it from LED lights). Once you add the scooter on the app you can lock it, and unlock full speed to 20MPH. You can also enable starting without rolling. So it will start from a standstill no push off necessary.
THIS WILL GO 20MPH. I'm 200+ lbs and it hit the 20MPH effortlessly. Only tested flat ground which I only intend 100% of this scooter to be using.
Those who complain about the tire size and solid. Meh. Just spoiled people. The solid tires are fine. Yea youll feel the bumps but if you are not on paved flat roads or are consistently curb jumping. And even if you do go on rougher roads if you are even an ounch of growing up a normal kid riding bikes etc. you know to bend your knees and bounce with the terrain to soften the feel/blow. Stiff unatheletic types will complain though. Preferthese honeycomb solid if you ever dealt with air filled and having to replace tires/tubes especially the wheel with the motor connected. So over that.
I ALSO have the famous LAPED equivilant which looks like a clone of this like many others:

I will say THIS ailife build quality doesnt feel and look are nice/high compared to the LAPED one, but because of the price it doesnt phase me. The big important thing is the LAPED cant go 20MPH if you are over 200lbs. That one struggles and wont reach 19-20mph and keeps me at 16MPH. You also have to unlock it to hit 19-20mph through their app and I know i did because it goes 20mph when lifted wheel spinning and with kids using it in the ~100lb range.
I'm satisfied with both but this one is nice that it will go the 20mph even for heavier riders despite the build quality "FEELING" lower than the other.
I just got mine. I will confirm mine goes 20 MPH! Out of the box and not doing anything it went 15 MPH no problem even weighing over 200 lbs.
