Bought and installed this lock about 6 months ago. Lots of bugs that haven't been fixed. I've been locked out of my house on several occasions, but it usually only lasts for a couple minutes while the device reboots. Recently, I was locked out for over 15 minutes while the lock did several reboots over and over. I would not recommend this lock.

Yes, it works way better, and there are no issues at all. The fingerprint one always has issues when hands are wet, but with the palm, there is a huge difference, and this one is Matter-compatible, so it makes a huge difference

Only had one issue with mine where the IR filter got stuck halfway, but covering the light sensor and then shining light on it a few times resolved it and it hasn't happened again.
