slightly better than steam deck, and the lenovo legion go S (8 core zen3 over 4 core zen2/zen3), 12CU rdna2 over the 8 in the steamdeck.

Essentially put the steam deck at your baseline, and increase the CPU performance, and thats where you expect this to land.

Interesting. When this was $280 ~ $299, it hit frontpage with a score of 167. And now it seems no one cares anymore when it is $265.

Links don't work. Price seems highly unlikely.

Been looking for a mini PC to throw in an Arcade1Up for emulation. Seems a decent option?

Worked for me. $308.11 before coupon. Haven't pulled the trigger quite yet mostly because I kinda dread the project it would be used for.

Need a new mini pc for use with a DAS. Any SSD deals to pair with this? Don't need a large capacity

It seems like these deals are weekly now and sometimes better than others. That being said I bought one for home median center and was happy enough with it that I got one for my work, in office, PC as well.

If I'm not mistaken, the Radeon 680m clocks up to 2.2Ghz vs SD's 1.6Ghz, so with 12 CUs (768 shader cores), that would equate to just under 3.4 TFlops. It's over twice what the SD can achieve in GPU computations.

That chip for that price with 24 gigs of memory is a great deal considering how crazy expensive fast ram is getting.

If speed is not as important, Woot has some WD green drives on sale. Price still sucks but it isn't bad.

Right? First thing I did was check mem pricing to gauge value!
