This is a great deal if you need a really basic five-port switch. These are pretty solid and there's not a lot to go wrong with them. However, I would suggest that you spend the extra $15 and get the eight port smart switch that is also on sale. It's a better product with more features, and given the long lifetime of these types of devices, you really won't feel the stinging of the extra money in a few years.

This is fantastic if you need to put it in a small space or know that you are only ever going to connect a couple of devices, but for most people you're better off with the 8 port switch.
