Great price with included battery. Although don't expect much run time however a free battery is a free battery!

I also like this because it will blow away sawdust but not hand tools, for example.

How would this work as a car dryer? Does it compete with the Ryobi that detailers seem to love? I'd rather stick to a battery system I already have instead of having another charger.

Professional corded car dryers are around 220 CFM, this is 175 CFM so yes, but not as good as corded ones. Perfect for blowing debris off cars, truck beds, porches, etc. where you only need it for 5-10 min to clear a small space. Anything more youre best off with leaf blowers which work great for drying cars in addition to actual yard work.

It's more for getting water off a car before drying with a towel. Is much easier on a coated car, and if you are using deionized water you don't even need to dry with a towel afterwards.
