35mph 1500 watts is not a Class 3 ebike and won't be legal to ride on the roads or bike paths in most of the US.

So I was going to pull the trigger I want a second bike specs this is good deal. Only thing I don't like is the battery kinda exposed if you crash but I'll figure something out . So I said to my self in my spending account has enough I'll grab it. 563.50$ shipped I got 554$ I guess it's not meant to be.

1500W peak just isnt enough to do 35mph, the specs on this are stretched. I got in on the last 20" deal when a bike with the same specs was $450 and it does do 25 comfortably with an adult sized rider but thats with the motor running at full throttle. Calling a motor like that a 'dirt bike' is a bad comparison, it would be like a bike with a weedeater engine on it. Its a (very heavy) pedal assist mountain bike. Its kind of stuck in the middle between lightweight bikes with similar power (but are more expensive of course) and full on electric bikes that can actually sustain 35mph (but are more expensive of course).

yeah thats kinda the point. honestly for commuting a bike that can go 30mph+ is safer then a slower one and in my area if your not causing a problem no one cares.

I was pointing out the discrepancy in the listing. This is not a legal Class 3 ebike.

Agreed. Isn't 1500w peak = 1000w motor? My rad bike now has a 750w motor and barely makes it over 20mph. ALSO... the description says 85km range while the picture says 85 mile range. This is all very suspect.

EKXBike is a Brand+ seller and actually provides other bikes to re-label and sell such as Freego.
You can get a 2000w peak motor in the 20" wheel moped style for around $650 w/ coupon code USMS90.
Not spamming or getting kickbacks btw lol but I did own the X21 max and it was a lot of fun.

There are a lot of discrepancies in these AliExpress listings, they take a lot of liberties on what MPH, range, battery life, etc.
