8mm is the shank size of Allen wrench sockets, so if you have a stuck bolt you can slide this over the shank and use it for leverage, it is really useful.I am perplexed why you would want more of a wrench you already have? (Unless it's the elusive 10mm, of course)

Personally I tend to like that. I have a mismash of wrenches in the drawer and from a quick glance I can find what I want. Quality is more important than the "matching" set to me.

yes, the space is too tight on my side post battery terminal for a normal sized ratchet. even a tiny ratchet runs out of room when it starts to come out so this is perfect and 8mm is the right size
