Applebee's all you can eat deal is a dine in feast built around boneless wings, riblets, shrimp, and fries, with the best value coming from pacing refills and ordering the next round as soon as the plate lands. The shrimp can be a lighter way to start, and sauce can be requested on the side. The main drawbacks are heavy breading, riblets with lots of bones, and slow refill timing that can stretch to about 30 minutes. Some locations may not honor the offer, so it works best when the participating store and the wait are both acceptable.

  • The riblets and wings can be very filling for some diners, which can make the all-you-can-eat price feel worthwhile.

  • The shrimp orders can be relatively manageable in portion size, and a planned order sequence can help keep the wait doable.

  • The dine-in setup can allow wing sauce to be requested on the side when ordering online shows a no-sauce option.

  • Riblets can be extremely bone-heavy, and the heavy breading can limit how many servings can be eaten.

  • Some locations may not honor the all-you-can-eat offer, and diners may be refused additional items.

  • Service timing can slow down refills, and waiting around 30 minutes for the next serving can reduce the all-you-can-eat experience.

  • Some diners can be removed from the deal after staying for hours without ordering beyond the all-you-can-eat items.

Scam. They only bring out like 4 items every 30 min. Then they kicked me out after 3 hours because I wasn't ordering anything besides the all you can eat items.

Refuse to pay then. You asked for more on an all you can eat and they refused, then they bounced you, they didn't honor their end of the deal.

They better get ready to not close their restaurant because I can eat a ton and will ask for a continuous flow of riblets. They also better have plenty of moist towelettes.

That's some good reasoning and a lot of logic. But the plate is less than $20, worth checking it out.
I did check it out so much breading you can't eat more then 2 servings anyway.

Yeah nothing like going to jail cuz you're arguing with staff and refuse to pay your bill because you couldn't overstuff yourself for over 3 hours at Applebee's ...the cop cam video that will be posted on YouTube will be worth the watch!

Be advised to place your +1 order immediately when the plate hits the table. Otherwise you'll be waiting 30mins for the next serving. I'm sure the slow service is intentional to discourage refills.

We like the shrimp, and usually get 3 orders of them (Not all that filling). Then venture off to ribs and wings. Easy on the fries! We tell the server what we want next when they bring out an order, and the wait is doable. No complaints.

BTW This has been going on for a while -- at least 3 weeks, probably longer.

Never understood why this meal is popular every year....when year round practically everyone in the country who doesn't live in a rural area has a generic American-Chinese buffet spot (you know the kind I'm talking about, even though they have a different name in every city) they can hit up with all of these things and much, much more for $15-20. Heck, I live in small town suburbia and my town has two of such places.
