Jersey Mike's regular subs get the most praise as a better, meatier alternative to Subway, with the coupon making them feel more reasonable in higher priced areas. The $2 off code is reported working in places like NorCal, Los Angeles, Portland, and Kalispell, and it applies to regular subs rather than bowls. The app also appears to reward birthdays with a free sub at 72 points, and points do not expire. The main drawback is that the sandwiches can feel lettuce heavy and the discount is still modest, so the value depends on local pricing and whether the code still works in your region.

Common Questions (4)

  • The code has been reported working in NorCal, Los Angeles, Portland, and weekly for some users, but it can be region-dependent. It applies to a regular sub and not a bowl.

  • Yes, it has been used successfully on a veggie hoagie, and it makes a veggie sub feel more reasonably priced.

    -MoistTowelette-nlgrpn14

  • Points reportedly do not expire, and the app can give a birthday reward worth 72 points toward a free sub. One user also reset their password, added the offer, and found 500+ points already in their account.

    olucky24JetBlast

  • A practical strategy is to buy on double-points days, use the $2-off coupon when available, and save points for higher-priced subs. The request field can also handle custom instructions like "make it sloppy."

I think Jersey Mike's cleans the salt or flavor off their meats (not even sure if that is possible) because when I eat their sandwich, even their Italian, all I can taste is lettuce. Italians are suppose to have an abundance of flavor because of the variety of meats on it.
Someone on here told me to take out the lettuce and that would solve the issue; however, I do not have to do that for Jimmy John's (JJ) and Penn Station (PS). Both JJ and PS meats are more flavorful, but that is just me. Firehouse Subs I just taste ham...for some odd reason. Like the theme of Jersey Mike's is lettuce and Firehouse Subs is ham, like every gahdam meat on a sandwich tastes like ham.
Then don't get that. Try a big kahuna with Buffalo, chipotle and cpr. Thank me later

You have to be lucky for it to work in your region. I remember there are two that were used for months (like 3) and only one of them worked for me.

this code confirm working in norcal. imo - jersey mike is only worth it with the $2 off. still awesome that the app gifts you a free 72pts for a free sub on your bday though.
I only buy on double points days, with coupon code if available. And then I use the points on the higher priced subs options - my mom likes their roast beef, and they totally understand how to "make it sloppy" in the request field Big Grin

The difference between this and subway for me was the the difference between a sandwich with a dominance of lettuce flavor (Jersey Mike's) vs. dominance of bread (Subway).
If you want meat flavor, Penn station or Jimmy John's.
