Honestly, if your camping just get a French press. Boil some water and you're good to go.

Pretty much agree, I've just settled for a good quality instant coffee while camping. We already have a pot to boil water and it's just one less thing to drag out of our kitchen.

My Dad has some Coleman stovetop camp coffee maker that does a pretty good job, but it's quite bulky.
