The Fanttik Slim V8 Apex is a compact cordless car vacuum that also works well for quick household cleanup, from car interiors and Tesla carpet to desks, keyboards, 3D printers, and even blowing dust out of tight spots. The filter design and overall build get positive notes, and the included attachments make it handy for small jobs. The main drawback is battery life and power on higher settings, with runtime reported anywhere from about 5 to 13 minutes and low speed described as weak. It feels best suited to fast touch ups rather than deep detailing.
The vacuum can handle quick car cleanups and also works for trimming and vacuuming beard trimmings at home events.
The vacuum is useful for desk and keyboard dust removal as well as vacuuming crumbs.
The vacuum can clean drainage areas around wipers and the hood on a car.
The vacuum can be convenient to use instead of a shop vac for small messes.
The vacuum may feel overpriced at around $52, with reports of $20 to $30 pricing elsewhere.
The low speed can be ineffective and the fast mode suction may only last about 13 minutes.
The battery runtime can be as short as five minutes on full power.
The vacuum may struggle to remove the stickiest dog hair from carpeted areas.
