This 15 inch MacBook Air with the M5 chip, 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage is being treated as a standout value for a high end portable Mac. The price is described as roughly $550 to $850 below later pricing, and the 15 inch design, battery life, keyboard, and portability get strong praise. Several purchases arrived sealed, brand new, and matching the listing, with one showing only two battery cycles. The main caveat is that Amazon availability and shipping can be region specific, and the order may show supplier details that look unclear. A strong pick if it shows up in your region.

Common Questions (5)

  • Yes. That wording can be a generic Amazon inventory label and does not by itself mean the laptop is counterfeit or unusual. Buyers also reported receiving sealed, brand-new units with Apple-like packaging despite the "Supplier: Other" detail.

  • Yes. The $1149.99 price and even stock can be region-specific on Amazon, and changing to a different ZIP code can reveal the deal when your local ZIP does not. Some buyers also report being unable to ship to certain states and having to use another address.

  • It can. Buyers reported sealed boxes, brand-new units, and even only 2 battery cycles on arrival, which suggests normal new-in-box fulfillment when the order goes through.

  • Amazon has canceled some prior orders after verification checks, and there are also reports of return/refund disputes if a returned box is tampered with. The practical takeaway is to expect some fulfillment risk on price-mistake deals and inspect the box carefully if you do receive it.

  • Yes. Buyers describe it as a strong bargain, roughly $550 off, and say the 24GB/1TB configuration should be enough for several years. The 15-inch Air is also praised for its battery life, portability, and MacBook Pro-like feel.

Yup. I got one for me and my sister and at first she said I should have asked her first. I told her it was still in the return window and after the news broke yesterday she immediately messaged lol

Yeah man, so glad I didn't think and just bought the damned thing lol. This bad boy retails at $1999 now after the price increases! So a savings of $850! 24GB/1TB M5 should be enough computer even for me for several years. I know I won't be able to avoid the lure of an OLED-equipped MacBook Pro unless the 14" retails $2499+... Which I'm thinking it will (and sorta hope it does so I don't buy it lol). This 15" MacBook Air is basically the late 2010's MacBook Pro we all wanted, but with vastly superior processors, battery life, keyboard and portability. Hell even Windows 11 works fine w/ free VMWare Fusion for my occasional PC needs.

This a good deal I think
A week after your reply Apple hiked up the MBA 15" M5 24GB 1TB to $1,999 or nearly 2x the $1,150

I could've bought 3. Kept 1 and sold the 2 at 60% margin to fully pay off the initial purchase.
