This 15 inch MacBook Air with the M5 chip, 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage is being treated as a standout value for a high end portable Mac. The price is described as roughly $550 to $850 below later pricing, and the 15 inch design, battery life, keyboard, and portability get strong praise. Several purchases arrived sealed, brand new, and matching the listing, with one showing only two battery cycles. The main caveat is that Amazon availability and shipping can be region specific, and the order may show supplier details that look unclear. A strong pick if it shows up in your region.

  • The laptop can arrive sealed with no issues, which supports a straightforward unboxing experience.

    esphil

  • The laptop can be received brand new with AppleCare already purchased.

    SiennaPollution173

  • The laptop can arrive with only a couple battery cycles, suggesting minimal prior use.

    ws2112

  • The deal can still be worth pursuing when the page is checked periodically, since the discounted price may reappear.

    RespectSlickyD

  • Amazon pricing and availability can be regional, so the $1149.99 offer may not show up for every ZIP code.

    redsolarmrm16

  • Purchases can fail due to regional lockout after setting a deal alert and attempting checkout.

    MacB00kemDanno

  • The invoice may show "Sold by Amazon, Supplied by OTHER," and customer service may be unable to confirm the supplier.

    sam7

  • Returns can become complicated if the MacBook is swapped with paper or an old laptop and the box is resealed.

That's really only a problem with stuff that has convincing fakes, like AirPods. Macs are generally safe to purchase.
I have seen too many posts and reviews where people take the Mac out, put in paper or an old used laptop, seal the box back, and return it to Amazon.
Sure you can return it too, but sometimes you need to fight Amazon to get a refund in these cases.

I just bought one too. Having missed out a few days ago when this "price mistake" happened. Did anyone who bought one during the last price mistake actually receive their laptop?
I got one from previous price mistake. There was actually one more pm for $1250 but Amazon immediately canceled my order "to protect our customers" (: They asked for some verifications before I can place another order but by that time it was gone. Luckily even better price mistake appeared later. And I also like this color better.
Also got 13" for $899 from earlier pm, but I like 15" way more.

This would've been a nice one to get. Too bad that it's no longer available.

Definitely Worth rolling the "mixed inventory" dice Imo I got the starlight same specs for $1250 the other week worked out perfect. This is even slicker but I have come to prefer the starlight color actually

Yeah there's bad Amazon experiences but this is a crazy sale for those that got in on it

I received my $1249 one two weeks ago… and then I received an $1149 one and returned the first one lol. Fantastic bargain at $550 off of a beast of a machine! The 15" Air design is like the most perfect MacBook Pro I wanted throughout the dark latter 2010s but with today's incredible Apple silicon.

Thanks for being on this for us. This is what, the 3rd time on different configs for the MBA? Is it me, or does this seem odd to have this many price mistakes?

Interesting that it says $20 off now at checkout . Wondering if the price was 20% by mistake.

I ordered one one of the previous times this deal was posted. Ordered 6/8, received 6/11. This deal is somewhat YMMV - it wouldn't ship to my house in NC so I had to ship to my brothers house in TX. As another user noted, Apple plans to raise their prices on items in the near future due to component price increases, primarily ram, so would hop on this if it's available.
