I can not see how this deal is accurate. I'm only able to order 8 pairs for $29. Before tax. While it's not much more than the deal post says it's still not accurate.

Most corporate founders are terrible for the most part. Ethical compromises must be made once they accept Wall St money - this is true across industries.

That said, Wexner stepped down as CEO and chairman of L Brands (owner of VS) in 2020 and became chairman emeritus, which is an honorary role. He was still reported around that time as a large shareholder, but that is not the same as owning or controlling the brand.
