I got this deal in store last week. The fan part is same as any $15 ones we find online. The other plate is an interesting thing. That plate cools really fast. But the fan is still on and running in the background. You can run the plate around the face, touching the skin to cool yourself. I used its a few times.. I really want to like this product as I cant stand summer heat. But I dont think ill keep this. The sound get annoying after like a min of running the plate around your face/neck. It does cools you, but after like 2min into it, you get tired of it. There is a mist piece as well, which costco dont carry. I dont have that attachment. I dont see this is worth the 100.. but because it is costco its worth checking it out and return it if you dont like it. I am leaning towards returning it.

Not worth it. You can get something on Amazon for 15$ including the cooling plate feature.

This crop of $100 tiny fans has to be the result of a drug fueled bender by marketing executives desperate to find the new biggest thing.
Mini fans have been around forever and almost nobody wants to tote one around, and if you do, you can buy a perfectly good one for $5-10.
The idea of toting around the thing to use with the tiny peltier plate is even sillier.

These $100+ portable fans is where AI engineering slop will get you. I mean, the marketing speak is truly out of this world. Dyson's equivalent (the "Hush Jet") calls the frackin cord that hangs the fan around your neck a Neck Dock, I kid you not...

I dunno. I was in Japan and literally every single person on the train and walking around had one. I got one and it was the best decision of the trip

This fan is definitely much stronger than the cheapy ones you can find on Amazon. Not sure if worth $100 tho, but there definitely is an improvement there.
