i bought it. been waiting a while for a decent price on a lie-flat mopvac. i set it up today and just used it for the first time. ive had a number of these mopvacs over the years. my main complaint with this one is that it doesnt have a light above the roller, so it doesnt light up the path in front of it, which i have found very useful with my other vacuums/mopvacs. it also doesnt come with an extra roller which i somehow didnt notice in my research. any other ive owned came with an extra roller.

but the lie-flat feature works great, and this is my first mopvac where the roller extends to both edges of the head, which i love (its a pain with single-edge mopvacs to have to constantly reposition myself to clean along edges esp after the floor is already wet where i need to step). the Aero cleans well, no missed spots under the roller. i like that it doesnt have an "extra water" trigger on it, bc i always feel compelled to pull that the entire time with any other mopvac ive used. i havent used this on any spill-type messes yet, but i like it so far. my wife has long hair and sheds constantly, so im interested to see how the tangle-cut feature works, but i honestly havent had the same hair-wrap issues with mopvacs like i have with traditional or robot vacuums. the tanks also come off and snap back on very easily (i cant say the same for any of the others ive owned). and the filter part is super easy to remove when its time to dump the dirty water, which is refreshing.

so I compare a lot of these big brands on TikTok shop lately cause the prices on there are cheaper by the actual brand selling it. So Dreame has this for $157.30 right now that I see on TikTok, plus any other coupons from TikTok could make this even cheaper. No I'm not some seller or affiliate. I just love finding Slickdeals when I can

At $170, when there are similarly priced options on Amazon from more reputable sources...I would though. Just like the flashlights with "built-in" batteries, I'd rather have user serviceable power sources.

It will be a long time before it needs to be replaced, so you don't really need to worry about it.

Seriously, some of these things have hot water and the charging base, during the cleaning process will dry the roller brush.

Mind blown 🤯

I have a 15-year-old eureka and a 12-year-old Dyson. They both [just] suck

What are some more reputable brands? I have an old tineco with two batteries. Anything similar out there?

Amazon search it, and there should be suggestions at the bottom of this item's listing. I saw a Bissell.

Here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G2P53KJR. I like the zero edge cleaning of this Bissell, which someone complained about in a review on the one posted here.

These wet/dry vacs are getting pretty competitive now. The long term battery situation is still my biggest concern though.

They sell Dreame Mop/Vac batteries so I'm sure there are or will be batteries for this by the time you actually need one.
