They often do these modest discounts just before a new large series release, like the pit or now the upcoming Game of Thrones offshoot. I also don't think there's going to be emerged subscription with Paramount+ anytime soon, they might be targeting end of year, Black Friday or Christmas at the earliest
Anybody have this issue? I click on the get deal button when it pops up and change my monthly basic to annual premium and it tells me 229. Not sure why it's not allowing the deal, warner is my billing.
Got an offer of $132.99 for the ad-free standard annual plan today at the HBO Max website. My annual plan ended yesterday, I had cancelled and waited for it to expire, planning to bundle HBO with my disney/hulu ad-free plans. But doing that comes to more than HBO is now offering for an annual plan, so I renewed direct from HBO.
Just an fyi, you may want to let your plan lapse and see what you get offered.

My HBO plan through Verizon expires in 2 days. HBO won't let me have this annual promo deal because I am a current subscriber. I even went to Customer Service and was told the same thing. I said I would let it cancel then (and I will) but it did not matter.
