This Casio is a nostalgic calculator watch with a compact 34 millimeter case, olive green resin band, and a look that draws compliments. The calculator functions are handy for quick tasks like currency conversion, and the battery life is reported at about three years on a 1.5 volt cell. The main drawbacks are the tiny buttons, the hard to read inverted display, and the lack of a backlight. The strap also runs a bit short for larger wrists, making it more of a style piece than a practical everyday tool.
Common Questions (4)
No. It functions as a calculator watch and does not retain phone numbers or calendar events; the "data bank" label is used for calculator constants and related functions rather than true storage. It can reuse the previous number in the next calculation, but it is not a real data bank watch.
No backlight is mentioned, and the lack of illumination makes the buttons harder to use in the dark. That is a practical drawback if you want to read the display or press keys at night.
The buttons are tiny and can be hard to press, and the inverted display is difficult to read on the beige version. The strap is also reported as a bit short, though it fits about a 7-inch wrist.
It runs on a 1.5V battery for about 3 years. That makes it a low-maintenance calculator watch for everyday use.

I remember having to hold the Data Bank watch sensor up in front of the CRT screen while patterns of lights and lines flashed on the screen as it "programmed" the watch with all your phone numbers and such.
Don't get me wrong. I had a Casio calculator watch when I was a kid. I thought I was so awesome at the time. 🤣
