5090's sell for $3500 where I am in the USA, making this PC effectively $500. A great deal if you feel like spending $1500 over a 5090 FE is worth it. Personally, I did not even see the value of the astral for $400 over my 5090 FE so I sold the 2 astrals I was able to snap up for ~2100 back in november and switched to 5090 FE's (x3) for my home systems. Damn lucky to get FE #3, I was able to get the last drop they had back on Jan 21 or whatever it was. Since I sold the 5090 astrals for a profit (dont be mad, people would have just resold them if I offered it for a low price and I was past the return period). Now I just have to decide if I am going to buy 3x wireview pro 2 wired, 3x ampiel, or 3x of some per pin monitoring psu so I dont need to worry if things are going to burn down the house while i am traveling.

So crazy how that happened. Discounting them to $2k in oct/nov/dec and then the insane price jump in the new year.

TLDR: This is a great deal in the current market. This is good enough that I am surprised these are not snapped up by scalpers.

I ordered 2 since it is $3,941.62 for me to get this deal(I got extra discount for some reason). Shown in earlier posts.I also get some CC points and cash back making this under $3900 before tax for me. 2nd best entry price for a 5090 for me since I got back into PC world in April lol.

Some prime day GPU deals info in this video all still pretty expensive

Yes, they pushed this if you chat with them. They also have some weird special deal where if you PAID for Warranty, and do NOT actually get your machine service, you get the warranty money back?? ? Make no sense but I didn't buy it anyway.
PSA: HPs phone chat and phone sales are literal scammers. They will promise things they cannot deliver on just to get you to make a purchase. HP as an organization does not care and will not honor what they promised.

I say this as the owner of an HP laptop for personal, HP laptop for work, and looking at an Omen.

Oh damn, well I didn't buy those warranties. I was just looking to see if they were willing to throw in something for me! (they gave a free gaming kb last time!) Sorry for your experience.

I am not sure why but this is the one I was seeing $3,941.62

They gave me another 3% for some reason for $174.5 before the coupon

It said TIER Discount.

See if you guys can get it also!!! I could not get other freebies this time like a keyboard. Oh well.

This made me order the machine last night after I added the 5090 and PSU. since it was below $4000 to get a 5090 "PC"

I activated cash-back so I should be getting another 2% back (1% Credit Card, 1% Cash back website)? $ 78.83

$3941.62 - 78.83 = $3862 before tax. It's $262 more before my best Omen 5090 purchase when I started buying but I'm buying it!

We will have to wait until 6/30 to 7/3 for delivery. They don't ship[ until 6/25 or 6/26.
Most likely you have a EPP or something? Because I have EPP with HP and that's the price I am getting quoted for.

Yeah i agree generally, but they seem to be offering 36 months 0 apr.. would make spending that much money a bit more easy to justify to the mrs haha
I am not sure where you got the 0APR for 36months... They have 2 different financing

HP Credit highest is 0 APR @ 24Months
HP Pay highest is Credit Score @ 36Months but most likely NOT 0APR

I feel like a crazy person saying that this deal isn't terrible in today's ridiculously inflated market, but if I'm springing for a $4k+ gaming desktop it's coming equipped with an X3D CPU at the very least. Those buying for productivity may feel differently.
X3D CPUs are a different SKU which the coupon code works for as well: https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/cus...am-1tb-ssd

Base price is $250 higher (so $187.50 higher after promo code). A little steep given newegg's price difference is just $130, but if you sold the 9700x and re-bought a 9800X3D you probably end up in the same place.
I'd upgrade to the performance SSD and the Wifi 7 for $15 total, and that got me to $4271 before tax.

Maybe it is EPP then. Yes I have it. Appreciate you confirming on your end. Made the deal sweeter for me for sure. Ordered 2. Maybe I should get more for a farm.

Well someone needs to update the deal instructions. It was confusing me last night when I saw the extra discounts Smilie.

"Note: If you are logged into EPP account, the promo code will not apply. You must log out of your account and customize/checkout to apply promo code."

Ah yeah I saw the banner and the 0% Apr separately and thought they were the same but they are apparently two different programs. 2 years is still not horrible. Sorry!

Did some research on the motherboard in case y'all care about part quality. It's listed here: https://support.hp.com/id-en/docu...2777747-16

Highlights: it's a B850 chipset. Wifi is a separate card in an M.2 2230 slot, so you've only got one free M.2 2280 left. The free PCIE slot is only x4 physical, so no second GPU for enthusiasts. If any of that matters to you, you might prefer jumping over to CyberPowerPC and customizing your own machine. 10% off builds and $150 off custom gets you around $4300 starting with matching specs of their cheaper parts.

Got this a couple weeks ago with a 1200w psu, 2x 16gb Kingston ram kit instead of single- without the 5090 for $600 brand new on fb marketplace. Then I got a 9070 xt and I have a sick computer for under $1300 lol. Guy buys them just to resell the 5090 so I got a smashing deal. It's been a great machine, but I do think I'm hearing a very high pitch coming from the cpu cooler that hasn't gone away. The kind of sound you think you know you're hearing, but can't actually tell cuz it's outside of your actual hearing range. Time will tell, I guess. I'm going to try and warranty the cooler eventually if I can't get it to go away. The case itself is really nice looking and high quality and the fan controller software is nice as well. Super quiet and cool machine other than that high pitched sound

Everyone helping the economy and many people benefit from the deals. I don't hear the high pitch and I don't have a dog to notice it either. lol

Ooops sorry about that. I thought it was basically saying you would never buy an HP Omen which to me meant what I thought it meant.

This is a good deal, I got 2 since I have it for $174.50 cheaper for some reason so I hope others can replicate it also. Under $3900 if I factor in 2% off on cash backs/rebates! haha.
You could've confused him with me since I loathe HP. ;-) Here's why:
1) I won't gloss over their printers in the 90s. Oh, how they sucked a**. Expensive fixes, expensive ink, expensive everything. Then, they introduced subscriptions...
2) Corporate malfeasance and greed: Fiorina as CEO effected tens of thousands of lives via job loss.
3) As some have said on this site, proprietary parts and horrible customer service.
4) BIOS updates are/were like Russian roulette. The whole point of getting a prebuilt is not knowing what a BIOS is. I've had a relative with an HP and that problem.
I mean I'd get an Apple product before I'd get anything HP, and the only bloke I liked was Woz.

This is a very slick deal if you have an Amex Bus Plat and stack with 10% cb portal.
