Not sure about the Mainstays brand, but the PIC brand coils are the best mosquito repellent I've ever used, been using them for over 20 years. Setup 4 as a perimeter and you are skeeter free, use a few more for a larger area.
Using one now! Over the years, we have used Pic and Off!, but these keep them away. We bought some coil holders from Amazon. I light the coils and allow them to create a barrier before enjoying outside w 0 bites.
