Community Reviews
Dell Refurbished Latitude 5430 is a 12th gen 14 inch business laptop that stands out for strong value, especially in 32GB RAM configurations. The coupon works on at least some units, and checkout examples show prices around $288 to $338 with free shipping. The build gets praise as sturdy for the class, and the warranty can transfer with the device. Main cautions are weak batteries, overheating, and occasional internal issues like USB disconnects or BIOS compatibility problems. A solid budget workhorse if you can live with refurb quirks.
Common Questions (6)
Battery life may be weak on refurbished units, and Dell Refurbished reportedly does not replace batteries unless they are dead; one buyer was told 45 minutes or more is the standard. Overheating and USB disconnect issues were also reported on some Latitude 5430 units.
A 32GB configuration was bought for about $288 plus tax, and another checkout came to about $308 with tax. The appeal is that 32GB, a modern 12th-gen processor, and a decent SSD can make it a strong value for a few years of use.
The coupon code works, but it appears to apply only to select configurations and some 256GB SSD options may be out of stock. The deal was also reported as sorted by price, with specs varying by listing and condition.
Listings vary, but the Latitude 5430 units are 12th-gen laptops. Reported configurations include an i7-1265U, 32GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 14-inch FHD display, Intel Iris integrated graphics, backlit keyboard, and Windows 11 Pro.
The Latitude 5430 is favored over the 7330 by some because its RAM can be upgraded, while the 7330 cannot. One buyer also noted a 1TB SSD did not work in their refurbished unit, possibly due to an outdated BIOS.
The warranty can follow the device, and one buyer had Dell transfer it within a day after providing a business name and address. That process may vary, but it can work without much friction.
