bought a couple to upgrade my kids' laptops.

Dell Latitude 5430 Notebook, 14-in FHD (1920 x 1080), Webcam, 1x Intel Core i7 10 Core (i7-1265U) 3.60 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, No Optical, Intel Iris Integrated Graphics, Backlit Keyboard, Windows 11 Pro

Dell Refurbished Latitude 5430 is a 12th gen 14 inch business laptop that stands out for strong value, especially in 32GB RAM configurations. The coupon works on at least some units, and checkout examples show prices around $288 to $338 with free shipping. The build gets praise as sturdy for the class, and the warranty can transfer with the device. Main cautions are weak batteries, overheating, and occasional internal issues like USB disconnects or BIOS compatibility problems. A solid budget workhorse if you can live with refurb quirks.

  • The coupon code worked during checkout for the Latitude 5430 deal.

    moslondon

  • The checkout math showed a large promo discount that reduced the estimated total price.

    sc2

  • Dell warranty transfer reportedly worked smoothly after Dell indicated coverage follows the device.

    iNICK20

  • A 32GB RAM configuration reportedly provided enough performance headroom for Windows 11 use.

    starcaptor

  • The Latitude 5430 line reportedly had overheating issues that led to early replacement during leases.

    Medic311

  • Refurbished units reportedly showed random USB disconnection issues and possible BIOS-related problems with a 1TB SSD.

    tyiu48

  • Refurbished battery replacement reportedly was limited, with batteries not replaced unless dead.

    tyiu48

  • The coupon reportedly worked only on a limited set of units, with 256GB SSD options affected or out of stock.

Had to jump on one of these. Need a good laptop for one of the kids, and prices on stuff right now is crazy. Hell 32GB of ram is more than 1/2 of the cost of the laptop.
We'll see if it ships.

Do you just load win11 pro from online ISO on No OS system and it gets activated or does it need a separate license?

I'm sure if you check eBay, you can get a better system for around the same amount. I got a Dell Latitude 5350 recently back in February listed as non-working. But has Dell ProSupport Plus (highest Dell warranty) for another 2 years. Which means Dell will replace everything if needed to get it working free of charge. Laptop was $200, and $100 for a 1Tb SSD. Yes, Dell did fully replace the motherboard and get the laptop working again. https://imgur.com/a/JT405Ct

Can someone confirm the return policy? It appears there is a 15% restocking fee and return shipping, if returns are made on a non-defective laptop.

you can always "find something wrong" with it if you want to return it.

How did you get that price? For a similar configuration it is showing 337.82 + tax....
I ran different configurations and all were more expensive. Unless the condition is the key.

In short, 7330 is better build but it can't upgrade the ram.
7330 = 7 (high quality) 3 (13 inch) 3 (year 202"2". Dell's count. 2+1) 0
5430 = 5 (mid quality) 4 (14 inch) 3 (year 202"2". Dell's count. 2+1) 0

Do batteries get replaced with refurbished models or does that only happen if the batter life if below a certain percentage, such as 80%?
