Community Reviews
These OVLLAN 3 inch replacement chair wheels are mainly valued for smoother, quieter rolling and easier movement on carpet and hard floors, especially compared with basic plastic casters. The dual wheel version gets repeated praise as the better design for turning, weight distribution, and thick carpet. The main cautions are fit and floor safety, since they are not compatible with IKEA chairs, may not suit every chair, and can dig into very low pile carpet or leave marks on hardwood and laminate. A practical upgrade when the size and flooring match.
Common Questions (5)
They can roll very smoothly and quietly on medium-pile carpet and hard floors, with some users saying they glide better than stock wheels. On very low-pile or thicker carpet, they may dig in, get stuck, or require lifting the chair to move it.
The dual-wheel version is repeatedly recommended for better turning, weight distribution, and carpet performance. The single-wheel version can be harder to change direction with, may feel jerky, and can be less stable on hard floors or thick carpet.
They can roll very freely on hard floors, which some people like, but they may also leave divots on hardwood or LVP and make the chair move more than expected. A chair mat or area rug is recommended for protection and control.
They are not compatible with IKEA chairs based on multiple reports. Compatibility with Herman Miller Aeron or Steelcase Leap is not confirmed in the comments, so those chairs may need a different stem size or a separate fit check before buying.
Yes. The discount code works when entered exactly as RBWheels.
