The Fanttik S1 Pro is a compact cordless electric screwdriver best suited to light assembly and small repair work. It handles IKEA furniture, phones, laptops, and other everyday household tasks well, with convenient battery life and enough torque to avoid over tightening and stripped screws. It also helps reduce hand strain for people with carpal tunnel or neuropathy. The main drawback is limited power and a single speed, which can make it awkward for desktop PC screws, larger fasteners, or tighter jobs. A practical pick if you want a handy driver rather than a drill.

Common Questions (5)

  • It is generally enough for IKEA furniture and many PC tasks, but it can feel too weak for larger screws, steel-frame bolts, or some screws inside a desktop case. For bigger jobs, a more powerful model may be a better fit.

  • It works well for phones, laptops, and other small-to-medium electronics repairs, and it can help avoid over-tightening and stripped screws. It is less useful for larger screws, furniture, or tasks that need more torque.

  • The torque/power control is on the front, so it can be pressed accidentally while gripping the tool and may change torque or shut it off. The button is also hard to feel by touch, especially with gloves.

  • It has selectable torque, but not variable speed; the motor runs at full speed forward or backward. That means you can change how much torque it applies, but not how fast it spins.

  • Yes, one reported unit drained to zero overnight every time. That makes battery reliability worth checking if you plan to leave it unused between jobs.

Made by Skil for Amazon, very highly rated, high torque.

They also have a bundle that includes additional bits.

What is this
It's a handheld power tool that automatically turns screws without you having to manually turn them by hand.

I have both this one, which is the Pro version, as well as the Deluxe version which is currently selling at Sam's Club. I got my Pro version at Costco, but they no longer sell it at Costco and it was about the same price as in this post. The Pro is plenty good for assembling IKEA furniture. It is more than adequate for PC work although it might be too big to get to some screws inside the case. The weaker Deluxe version I did have to manually use it like a screwdriver at the end to get it fully tight. Also the Deluxe was overall smaller which made it more difficult to grip. Set your expectations, this is a screwdriver, and not a drill.

To answer flangomango - you can select the torque, but it's the same speed. There is no variable speed control like a Dremel.

I got a similar one recently and the torque was too weak to work on my desktop PC. I ended up returning it and am looking for a more powerful version. Note that I don't have experience with this specific model.
This torque is enough to drive screws into drywall and studs

I had the same problem. These screwdrivers are too weak for many practical applications.
I tried to disassemble a desk with a steel frame and it couldn't budge the hand-tightened bolts. Maybe this why they're always on sale.

I know it's not a drill, but it's a surprisingly weak screwdriver.
