I bought this item last summer, and I love it. I use it to break down large cardboard boxes. It still requires a little effort/pushing to cut, but 100x easier than using a regular box cutter, and a lot safer for floors and body parts too. If you have a lot of Amazon deliveries, this is well worth $40.
