Klein is the patent holder. The majority are made in ROC and some are also made in PRC.

I dislike stubby tools. MUCH prefer full size, especially at this price. This one: another Klein import made by others in China, or made in the USA by Klein?
The purpose of a stubby is when you need to deal with a screw that doesn't have at least 6-inches of space.

Short drivers existed for a reason. Duh!

Yes, I understand the concept. Had this occur once in the last 20 years - and even then, the clearance was only sufficient for an offset screwdriver. For all those who work in tight clearance spaces frequently, I say "buy away!" For most, these are a waste of money and space. YMMV
Of course if you never have to worry about working clearance you wouldn't care about a stubby screwdriver. But saying that would also be like saying "why would anyone buy an 11-in-1 when most people don't work on Torx/Square screws by hand?"

Cool design. I had just been looking at something similar. Seems useful to keep in the tool bag.

I also have a 10" screwdriver that has never, not once, been used in more than 20 years. I often wonder how many never-used tools I have that were part of a "set" Smilie

I have one of the full length versions but am tempted to buy this for my minimalist compact go-tool-kit.

Do I have a tool problem?

BTW, if you prefer one of the several full size versions, one is also on sale for $5 more.

Why not buy the full size (from the comments link) and the stubby. Everything is interchangeable between them and everyone knows you always misplace or lose the most important bit or socket. This way, you get some duplicates of the most important ones so you are never left high and dry without the right tool.
