What's said is that this will pay for one and a half meals at Fogo de Chao. It's good, but they are also VERY good at enticing people to go to the buffet before the meat even arrives.

Even with the deal it's not worth it. It now cost 64 per person for dinner. Add drinks, tax and tip, you're looking at an easy 200 dollars bill for 2.

Maybe I'm spoiled, but I don't think fogo de chao is worth it. I'd much rather have 1 good steak than a bunch of small pieces of mediocre steak.

The salad bar is way better than most of the meat. Frown

Unless I'm with a large group, I prefer to eat at the bar and avoid the main dining area. The "all day happy hour" menu has $6 beers, the burger is around $10 and if you want steak, they have an 8oz filet mignon for $18.

Here's how to maximize this deal at Fogo as a pro.
  1. Go during lunch on a weekday when prices for the full churasco experience is $50-60. For prices above $50 and party of 2 or more you'll need to buy 3 or more of these gift cards
  2. Only order water. The meat is intentionally salty to entice you to keep ordering beverages.
  3. Avoid the salad bar or any of the table bread, plantain, or polenta dishes until the end. Immediately flip you table coaster to green.
  4. Avoid the lower cost meats like pork sausage or chicken. Go for the high cost meats.
  5. Take your time. Request specific cuts of meats.

This cannot possibly be in PNW or Cali. A sandwhich costs $20 - $25 here let alone a filet mignon (or is this glued meat?)
