This is a strong price on the 11 inch iPad A16, especially for anyone needing one now. The $279 deal beats the usual $299 retail price and is described as far below Apple's updated $449 base price. Staples Rewards is free to join, and the discount can show after logging in, with pickup or delivery available in some cases. The main catch is that the offer appears tied to the blue model and stock has been spotty, so availability may be the limiting factor.
Common Questions (4)
Yes. The $279 price appears after joining Staples Easy Rewards, which is free to join, and the cart can drop from a higher guest price once you log in. The deal may also be hidden on mobile until you use the rewards-join link.
Both have been reported, but availability depends on stock and location. Some orders show free delivery at $279, while others only show store pickup at nearby locations because shipping stock is out.
Yes. Some orders were later cancelled without email notification, and Staples reportedly cited an "unverified" account or blocked online purchasing. Other orders stayed in processing briefly and then shipped, so order status needs checking.
Yes. The discounted price is tied to the blue 128GB 11" iPad A16, while other colors show higher prices around $350. Blue has also been the color most often reported as out of stock for shipping in some areas.

Was only the blue one on this deal from the start. Still showing store pick up is available at two local stores in my area, so definitely ORDER FOR PICK UP NOW! You don't have to show up at the store for 2-3 days to claim it. But these likely will sell out at the stores now that they are OOS for shipping. So don't hold off....
Also took advantage of prime day $5 cases x2 and $5 screen protectors and we're good to go.
Wasn't planning on upgrading until next gen but I had to do it early to beat the price increases. I wouldn't be surprised if Apple's profits went bananas this quarter because of people stocking up.
