Williston audio on YouTube did a comparison vs the JBL partybox if you feel like looking for it. Just keep in mind the prices he paid for each (vs current pricing) during the review. The Onn is not as loud but also much cheaper

Finally had a chance to test the pair outdoors. They get pretty loud, more then enough for what I'll need. Bluetooth range seems to be about 20 to 25 ft max then it start breaking up if I get further. I found an android app called "remote mic" that lets you broadcast through bluetooth while music is playing so that you can get around the limitation of the mic input only playing on the speaker it's plugged into. There's about a 1 second delay however so it's not good for karaoke and it would probably be annoying for speeches, its really just for announcements. Another thing you could do is buy a wireless mic with 2 receivers and set the receivers to the same channel and then plug one into each speaker. I haven't tested this so I'm not sure what the delay would be but it should be minimal. Or use a Bluetooth mixer plugged into the Aux port, that does play to both speakers, but that kind of ruins the whole battery powered portability aspect unless you can find a mixer that powers from the speakers USB port, I haven't tried that because I really don't need another mixer lol.

I have one for a year and ordering second. 1 speaker is fine for the pool. 2 speakers will be right for a pool party.

Got two. Definitely a smaller size than expected. However working great out of the box. Very portable, lightweight, and additionally rolling wheels at the bottom.

Loud Bass but slight distortion at very high volume. Works great at about 75-80% of maximum volume.

Easy to pair two speakers for the stereo effect.

Compared these two, side-by-side, outdoor with my single JBL Party Box 720. These onn speakers as a pair are the clear winner over JBL.

I am returning my JBL to Walmart, which is still within return window. Let's hope that these onn speakers will last long enough.

When playing tranquil/soft/quiet music at low volume, does anyone notice that the speaker emits a very faint hiss/static sound, is this because they cheapened out on the amp?
