This is a strong standalone Switch 2 price, especially with the CHEAPSWITCH2 code and the extra first time customer discount that can bring it down to $399. The deal also looks more compelling with Prime card cash back, and the looming September price increase makes the timing feel favorable. The main cautions are Woot's return process and warranty uncertainty, since the listing shows a 90 day Woot warranty and checkout or shipping restrictions have appeared for some locations. A solid low end entry point if you want the console now.
Common Questions (5)
Yes, the CHEAPSWITCH2 code can still apply and take $50 off, including on a new Woot account. Some checkouts may fail or show the code as not working, so the discount is not guaranteed for every cart.
The deal can land around $399 for first-time Woot customers after the extra $20 off, before tax. Other reported totals include $433 after the $50 code and tax, and $457.94 after coupon and tax depending on location.
Woot lists a 90-day limited warranty, and Nintendo warranty coverage is uncertain because Woot may not count as an approved retailer. One buyer's Nintendo warranty checker showed coverage until 06/2027, so the actual result may depend on how the unit is registered and processed.
Returns can be more cumbersome than Amazon and may involve return shipping charges or restocking fees, especially on pricier electronics. Woot's policy also allows returns through an Amazon package-return center.
Yes, multiple comments say the Switch 2 price is increasing on September 1, with one noting a jump from $449 to $499. That makes this deal a strong buy-now option if you want to avoid the higher price.
