I got the beatbot Sora 70 from Amazon. I had it in my Walmart cart but the price didn't drop on prime day. I had 2 mayotronics dolphin corded. The cord deteriorated and robot malfunctions after 2 years both times.
The Sora is running currently and I'm impressed so far. It went straight to the leafs and debris. Could have been luck but I think it's got a camera to detect stuff. One of features I really like about the Sora is surface cleaning as well. I have 4 dead solar surface skimmers. It's more expensive than this model but I had reward points.

I've got this one (https://a.co/d/09V5WVSC) and it's ok. Sometimes it gets stuck on our drains but it cleans 85-90% of the debris. Battery lasts for ~2.5-3 hrs.

For anyone in this situation, the cords are easy to replace and cheaper than a whole new unit. The cords deteriorate faster if left in the water all the time. Just how it is.

Also need to make sure to pull it out of the water by the handle. Learned that firsthand, but fortunately it was still under warranty.

Will this clean a smaller in-ground spa? That thing is impossible for me to clean properly without any kind of skimmer and is basically usable when I turn the jets on and it looks like a sandstorm in the water. A cordless vacuum I could throw in there a few times a week that would clean the bottom and steps would be amazing 🤔

Just returned to Walmart and got my money back. With NJ tax it was 403$. Didn't like the performance, the app control is only for knowing battery charge level and selecting mode that can be also done manually on the unit. Bluetooth connection, which turns off in the water, no control of the path or parking spot. It usually selecting deepest fare spot just to annoy me Smilie. Not worthy of the money
