Community Reviews
Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 earbuds stand out for rich, excellent sound and comfortable everyday use, with strong bass and a polished all around listening experience. The battery life is the main tradeoff, with roughly six hours feeling optimistic and long term wear leading to charging and reliability issues for some units. The case is also larger than Sony alternatives, and seating the buds correctly matters for charging. Open box pricing has landed well below retail, making them a strong value if sound quality matters most.
Common Questions (5)
Sound quality is repeatedly described as excellent, with strong bass and a sound signature that many prefer over AirPods and cheaper alternatives. ANC is good, but it is also reported to be weaker than Sony's and Bose QuietComfort Ultra.
Battery life is reported as only around 6 hours at best, and it can fall short of that over time. A practical workaround is to use one earbud at a time and keep the other charging in the case.
They can develop battery and charging failures after about a year, including one bud sounding weak, batteries no longer charging, or a bud not making proper contact in the case. Sennheiser support has been patient in troubleshooting and has reportedly offered a $50 coupon in at least one case.
An open-box Excellent unit was reported at $56.99 from Best Buy, which is far below the new $150 price. That makes the open-box option especially attractive if you want to save money and are comfortable with the usual battery-life and reliability caveats.
They are described as comfortable and a strong all-around daily driver with excellent sound quality. The main tradeoffs are a larger case than Sony's and occasional charging-contact issues if a bud is not seated correctly.
