This Discover rewards promo can knock 30 percent off Amazon purchases, with several successful redemptions hitting the full $30 or even $50 cap. The strongest reports point to items sold and shipped by Amazon, though some third party items shipped by Amazon and even direct from manufacturer orders also triggered the discount. Gift cards appear unreliable now, and eligibility can take time to appear or fail entirely. A mock cart check helps confirm whether the discount is actually applying before you commit.
The promotion can work on items that are shipped by Amazon even when sold by third parties.
The activated coupon can apply a large discount when Discover rewards are used.
The discount can show up in-cart and reach the maximum cap on eligible purchases.
The offer can sometimes apply even when the item is not shipped by Amazon.
The promotion may not apply to discounted eGift or non-Amazon gift cards.
The offer can be restrictive and may show an ineligible message even after enrolling the Discover card.
The 30% discount can stop appearing after repeated use, suggesting limited availability.
The discount may fail to appear until the cart is closed and reopened.

I'm currently on a one month free prime membership and I've had my discover card added for about 2 years now.
Never seen this offer before so maybe that's why I was eligible.
With a $15 Amazon gift card and my discover rewards I ended up getting $135 worth of stuff for $41.
Thanks OP
