These folding HDPE Adirondack chairs stand out for durable, low maintenance outdoor seating at a sharp price. The chairs have held up for years through sun, snow, beach use, and regular cleaning, with no rust on the hardware and only occasional hosing or wiping off pollen and bird droppings. They sit lower, feel a bit flexible, and the seat can dip or mold over time, while the heavy 45 pound build makes them less portable. A solid value if you want weather resistant patio chairs without paying Polywood prices.
Homeowners wanting low-maintenance deck seating, because the chairs can stay in good shape for years with only occasional hosing or wiping off pollen and bird droppings.
Beach-house owners needing weather-resistant patio chairs, because they hold up through sunny summers, snowy winters, and salty outdoor exposure without rusting.
They are comfortable for normal-sized users and can fit a 6'1", 295 lb person well, but the seat bottom can flex and dip a bit over time. The chair is still described as solid, though not as stout as pricier composite options.
They are cheaper and often described as "poly wood esque," but they are not as stout or as nice as premium composite chairs. The tradeoff is value: they're considered a strong buy around $80 to under $100, while Polywood is noted as more expensive and less prone to warping or rust.
They hold up well for multiple seasons, including sunny summers and snowy winters, with reports of being "bulletproof" after two seasons and still like new after a couple of years. Maintenance is minimal: hosing them off or cleaning pollen and bird droppings is usually enough.
The listed spec is 450 pounds, and one user specifically called out that rating when disputing a lower review. A 6'1", 295 lb user also reported sitting comfortably in them.
What's amazing is that these types of chairs were $300+ just a few years ago. I was looking to buy them but did not want to spend that kind of money and wondered why they weren't cheaper. There's no reason to buy wood when these are available at this price. I've had two chairs on the back deck for a couple years now, and they are as good as the day I put them together with zero maintenance other than cleaning off bird crap and pollen.
These chairs have been bulletproof for the last 2 seasons. Will update next season.
A reviewer mentioned the chairs can only fit someone at 160lbs. Im 6'3 250, do you think I'll have a problem fitting? I fit fine in regular wooden chairs like this.

The review must be a one off because the specs rate it for 450 pounds. You can always buy one to test it out. Easy returns with Walmart.

I got 2 of these last time they were on sale. They are poly wood esque. Have held up nicely. I just hose them down and they're ready to go. In for one more
These are awesome and hold up very well even at my beach house. Color matches a set of more $$ navy chairs. They sit lower and are a little flexible in the seat. But for $80, they're amazing.
Zero rust on hardware. Polywood still immaculate. Bought 2 for my main house last sale.

We have a set of these sold under a different name. But similar in price. They are definitely not a stout as the more expensive ones. Wood is a bit thinner. That said for normal weight people they are really no different.

We bought 4 the last time the chairs were on sale. My husband is 6'1 295 and he really enjoys them. He's actually been waiting for a sale to buy more.

I bought four of these chairs the last time this deal popped up. Make no mistake, these are nowhere near as nice as the expensive composite chairs sold at brick and mortar home and garden stores. I would not pay a penny more than $100 for these
