I took a chance on four of them and am happy. Stuck one on my robovacuum, it finds it and it's loud. It's apparently missing the ultra sensitive chip so it's not as precise as Apple's version, but I see that as a plus if I'm using it to not be easily found like in a car.

I find a lot of these generic tags work well. Just keep in mind they work with Bluetooth and not with UWB so not as precise. Also the batteries on generic ones are often cheap so you may need to replace them before they work properly. Also I find the shape is different so they won't work with tags designed for apple ones.

Make sure you put it somewhere where the button won't get pushed which resets it and renders it useless... I ended up modifying them to prevent this.

They do not have the UWb chip so you can't use them for precision finding. Not useful to find your keys somewhere in the house. But use when your luggage for instance if you wanna know what city it might've ended up in.

I got these last time they were on sale. they work great and chirp is loud. I haven't needed to replace the battery yet but it's a cinch to do so by turning the case with the indentation with a nickel.

These have plastic pull tabs so I can keep them in drawer for 6 months without using any battery life?

So that kinda means putting it on the set of keys is out since it will get bumped all the time in pockets and bags

True but for the price and with the ability to have it play a sound, they are amazing, I grabbed last time and well worth it!

Q for anyone. ive seen videos showing the AT2 has quicker 'response' on the findmy app than AT1.

wondering how snappy or not this generic or the ugreen ones on the other thread, might be.
