There's no support so it's just weighing down your port. When your phone is laying down with it plugged in, it's just being held up by the port. It ruined by Pixel 7 Pro years ago.

I just dug mine out and plugged it into my Pixel 10 Pro. There's no orientation where the port doesn't feel at least a little bit strained. Would not recommend.

It's roughly 1 full charge of a phone which for me is another 36-48 hours. That's plenty for a lot of use cases

This compact 5,000mAh Anker Nano power bank is best for quick top offs when you want a small, cable free charger for bags, parks, festivals, air travel, or VR headsets. The built in foldable USB C connector is convenient, charges faster than some MagSafe setups, and the size is lighter than larger packs. The tradeoff is limited capacity, often around one phone charge or less, and the direct plug in design can strain the phone port, especially if it is bumped or carried while connected. It is a handy emergency pack if you use it carefully.

  • The compact 5,000mAh size works well for day trips and air travel carry-on use.

    koltonsazcasa

  • Some units recharge phones quickly while generating less heat than a MagSafe setup.

    trevortypesabadan

  • The built-in USB-C connector stays plugged in and makes quick top-offs convenient at theme parks.

    trevortypes

  • The foldable USB-C design can still allow charging through a cable if the USBC-Toggle breaks.

    Vimie

  • The built-in connector can strain a phone's USB port when the phone is laying down and may damage devices.

    njbasilenjbasile

  • The built-in connector can break off quickly, which can force a switch away from this style.

    VulcanMikejhanes57

  • Effective capacity can be low, including reports of overheating and reduced usable charge.

    KorgGamer69SiennaTable748

  • The built-in connector may not fit with some phone cases, requiring removal before charging.

I want a battery pack that is somewhat seamless and compact. Not a fan of the MagSafe super hot batteries, and dont like the separate battery with cable, so I'll give it a shot, for $10

this is like for emergencies only. 5,000mah isn't much.

Yes! Exactly why I stopped using my MagSafe. This pack is faster charging and less heat generated. The built in usb-c stays plugged in. They're great to top off at theme parks.

Do not buy these. They are rough on your USB port.

There is an Anker slim 10000mAh mag safe charger that is pretty nice. Heavy but not too bulky in hand

No problems for me for years on iPhones. You can flip the pack upside down and your phone lays flatter on surfaces

What I do to resolve the heat issue is get a magsafe one and get a really short cable instead of using the magsafe to charge. This recharges the phone a lot faster no thermal throttling. I have this charger and the balance doesn't feel as good as a slim magsafe battery pack
