The compressor is better. Dometic used to use Danfoss/SECOP compressors which are higher quality and BougeRV uses Wancool which is more budget oriented. I think this one uses an in-house compressor and don't know the quality.

I have an ICECO which is the budget brand with the Danfoss/SECOP compressor.

Doesnt really matter. 3 of another brand will outlast this. I can't see how this can compete other then it's probably on showroom floors at RV dealers suckering in those that aren't aware.

Amen. It's unreal. You can get comparable ones for $200 on sale. Do that. Get an Amazon warranty for it for 3 years for 20 bucks too.Honestly have to be fairly unaware to spend this much on an electric cooler in 2026.

You are not the target market then. If you are going somewhere remote off-grid, you probably can't afford for your fridge to go bad.

Why would anyone buy this when the Anker dual zone (with a battery) is the same price? From what I can tell, this one has no battery.

You don't want an internal battery on a fridge. Takes up space and you're stuck with a proprietary battery.

They were the one OGs in the 12v fridge game. Mine are still running after 10+ years running 24/7, but if I were getting one today I'd try a cheaper one.

IMO this design is a waste of space. Iceco makes one that has a removable divider so you can go all fridge or all freezer if you wanted to.

This one you get 2 small spaces that probably can't fit a dozen eggs in the original container.
