Thanks for posting this OP ! I think like other asus tuf gaming laptops.. someone please jump in and correct me if I'm wrong.. there's room for a second m2 slot for added hard drive storage

Of course the problem is finding a second m2 drive that doesn't cost a fortune given AI centers driving the price of consumer PC parts sky high Frown ... not a criticism of this deal by any means OP , in this day and age with AI centers driving up the cost of anything computer related including laptops it's good to know about deals like this!

I own this model and saw the benchmark graph floating around on Reddit that included the SM. Made me happy. I solely play Steam games on mine (mostly Civ7). Great machine.

Replacing the following soon...maybe 2014 Asus RoG 15.6" Full HD Gaming Notebook, i7-4710HQ, 860M, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, W8.1 (W10). I've never had an issue with it, other than the battery giving up a few years back.

REALLY depends on whether the 4050 can be turned off when doing so. If so probably 4-5 hours of light use. If not, lol.

It's OK, not spectacular. I def keep it plugged in when running Civ7 because the fan goes like crazy.

Yeah I mean when gaming you need plugged in regardless. Physics won't let a gaming machine with a high powered DGPU run at high levels for long on battery.

If you aren't gaming I would expect this machine to get like 5-6 hours.
