It's called "laguna " but it's not a saltwater reel. It's confusing

Yes the reel body is corrosion resistant which is made of basically graphite but it is not sealed, so the internal components are susceptible to corrosion if exposed to saltwater and not properly cleaned. So it is not really a saltwater reel.

If you scroll down, you can find the specification tab, when you click to expand, you will see all the information related to different reel sizes. Smaller size is good for panfish, trout. Larger you go heavier the reel becomes and also higher the line capacity. So with bigger reels, you target bigger fish.

Exactly. A 2500 is generally about twice the size of a 1000.

1000 size would be good for sun fish, bluegill, or crappie
2500 is very popular in the bass world.
3000 is going to hold the most line and have the smoothest drag, for fighting large fish that may run on you. Bass, carp, walleye, and catfish
Sorry all of my examples are freshwater, I live in Ohio

edit: I bought/received these in the 3000 size.. they are surprisingly solid and smooth. So pleased with them, I returned the Daiwa Crossfire LT from previous deal.

yeah man, Laguna, still being an entry level reel, is one step up from the crossfire. That being said, if you decide to use it on saltwater, get the 3000, as long as you don't drop it in the saltwater and rinse it after every trip to saltwater fishing, this will hold up fine.
